Tehachapi, California

On our way up to Auburn, CA, we had the opportunity to visit Fred & Bunny Northcutt. They also are former members of Lighthouse, and are longtime friends of ours. Fred is retired Air Force and Civil Servant, and is enjoying retirement in their new home in beautiful Tehachapi, CA. When living in San Diego, Bunny used to mail out half of our prayer letters, so that was a big blessing to me while we were on the field. Their son Scott, is also a fellow graduate of LBC Bible Institute, and has been Associate Pastor for several years now.

The Greenes Head North

On Wednesday, Feb. 27th, the Greene family embarked on a 1-month trip to the northwest. Our travels will take us to northern California, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho and Las Vegas, NV. We are due to return to San Diego on Monday, March 24th.

Our first stop was Fundamental Baptist Church in Ventura, CA, where Bro. Lantz and Mrs. Kristen Shapiro are pastoring (pictured). The Shapiros are old friends of ours, and former members of our home church in San Diego. Lantz is also a graduate of LBC's Bible Institute, and was sent out to take the church in Ventura. God has blessed them there for nearly 10 years now, so we thank God for fellow laborers who are staying faithful and being used of God.
